The servant(s) of God departed this life in the hope of the resurrection and life eternal, ______, may the Lord God remember in His kingdom, always, now and ever, and unto ages of ages.

People:Amen

Priest:You and all Orthodox Christians, may the Lord God remember in His Kingdom always, now and ever and unto ages of ages.

People: May the Lord God remember your priesthood in His kingdom.

People:Amen. That we may receive the King of all, Who comes invisibly upborne by the angelic hosts. Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Priest: The noble Joseph, when he had taken down Your most pure Body from the tree, wrapped it in fine linen and anointed it with spices and placed it in a new tomb.

In the tomb with the body, in hell with the soul as God, in paradise with the thief and on the throne with the Father and the Spirit, You were, O boundless Christ, filling all things.

Bearing life and more fruitful than paradise, brighter than any royal chamber: Your tomb, O Christ, is the fountain of our resurrection.

Deacon: Do good, Master.

Priest: Do good to Zion, O Lord, with Your goodwill, and let the walls of Jerusalem be built. Then You will delight in the sacrifice of righteousness, in offering and whole burnt offerings. Then they will offer young bulls on Your altar.

Priest: Remember me, brother and fellow-minister.

Deacon: May the Lord God remember your priesthood in His kingdom

Deacon: Remember me,(us) holy Master.

Priest: + May the Lord God remember your diaconate in His kingdom always, now and ever and unto ages of ages.

Deacon: Amen.
