The hieromonk Manassis bought and repaired the kellion of Ayios Stephanos in Karyes. When, however, he sought to bring water into this kellion, he encountered opposition from the hieromonk Markos Kozas and the confessor of the kellion, Tryphon Makrygenis. The dispute was heard by the Synaxis in Karyes, which found for Manassis and permitted him to draw water for the kellion and for his vineyard from the supply which waters the vineyards of the Protaton. Manassis is to make an annual offering to the Protaton of two measures of wine.
